Embroidered patches are the
classic patch style. We embroider your design in thread into a twill backing.
This
style
is suitable for most uniform patches. It allows a medium level of detail in your
design.
Embroidered patch pricing is
based in part on the percentage of the twill backing that is covered by the
design
thread. A simple name patch, for example, will typically be a 50% embroidered
design. Half of the twill backing will be visible, so it’s important to choose a
complementary backing color. A patch with a more intricate design may be 75%
embroidered (with 25%
of the twill visible), or even 100% embroidered, meaning none of the backing
will be visible.
